The full card for the boxing event in Puerto Rico featuring Amanda Serrano and Jake Paul has been revealed, with Serrano fighting Nina Meinke in the main event and Paul facing Ryan Bourland in the co-main event, along with the professional debut of 17-year-old Javon “Wanna” Walton.
Saturday’s full card in Puerto Rico, featuring Amanda Serrano and Jake Paul, has been unveiled. The event’s headliner is Serrano, a multi-time women’s champion. She’s getting her first chance to compete at home in almost three years.
Jake Paul, who’s also Serrano’s promoter under Most Valuable Promotions, is stepping into the co-main event. This will be his 10th professional fight. He’s up against another seasoned boxer in his latest venture.
Serrano’s opponent in the main event is Nina Meinke. The WBO, WBA, IBF, IBO, and Ring featherweight world titles are up for grabs. The fight will last 12 rounds, each three minutes long. Serrano has been adamant about this, as many sanctioning bodies still have women fighting two-minute rounds.
Paul is on the hunt for his third consecutive win in the co-main event. He’s coming off his only loss in his professional career, a split decision to Tommy Fury in 2023. After a brutal first-round knockout of Andre August last December, Paul is back to face Ryan Bourland. Bourland has a 17-2 record, with six knockouts to his name.
Also on the card is the pro debut of 17-year-old Javon “Wanna” Walton. You might recognize him as Ashtray from the Emmy-winning HBO series Euphoria. But boxing isn’t new to him. He started training under his father at the tender age of 4. Now, he’s ready to make his professional debut this Saturday.
Walton’s opponent is 32-year-old Joshua Torres. They’ll face off in a featured bout on the main card.
