Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen Card Complete with Olympic Medalist Boxing Match

Olympic medalists Esquiva Falcão and Hebert Conceição will compete in a 10-round boxing match on the undercard of Spaten Fight Night, headlined by an exhibition bout between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen on June 15 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.


Olympic medalists Esquiva Falcão and Hebert Conceição are set to clash in an all-Brazil boxing match. This bout will be part of the undercard for Spaten Fight Night on June 15, as announced by the company on Friday.

SFN’s main event features a five-round exhibition boxing match. Old UFC rivals Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen will face off in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Meanwhile, Falcão vs. Conceição will be an official 10-round bout at 74kg (163 pounds).

Conceição has won five pro bouts since his gold medal victory at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. Impressively, he knocked out three of those opponents. He trains in Salvador with Silva’s boxing coach, Luis Dorea.

Falcão, who won silver at the 2012 Olympics in London, boasts an impressive record. He has won 30 of 31 professional matches, with 20 knockouts. His only loss came against Vincenzo Gualtieri for the vacant IBF middleweight title in July 2023.

The four-fight Spaten Fight Night card is now complete. However, the promotion has yet to announce the bout order.
