Angela Hill To Step In At UFC Auckland On Short Notice

Angela Hill‘s nickname might as well be ‘short-notice’ as she will be stepping into the octagon twice in a span of 1 month.

Hill will be replacing Hannah Goldy at UFC on ESPN+ 26 from Auckland, New Zealand. The card will be taking place on February 22nd, less than 4 weeks after her victory over Hannah Cifers at UFC Fight Night Raleigh which took place on January 25th. Hill won the fight via 2nd round TKO.

Hill will be taking on Loma Lookboonmee in her home territory. The Thai born fighter has had 1 fight in the UFC with a victory over Alexandra Albu in Singapore at UFC+20. This will be a tough task for the 24-year-old. There is no word on whether the fight will take place at flyweight or strawweight.

Angela Hil has had a reputation for stepping into fights on short notice. She fought 4 times in 2019 within a 7-month span. The veteran fighter is 5-5 in the UFC and is looking to build on a 2 fight win streak.

UFC on ESPN+ 26 from the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand will be headlined by hometown favorite Dan Hooker facing off against Paul Felder. The main card kicks off at 7 pm ET and the prelims will begin at 4 pm ET.
