Mike Perry topped the disclosed payroll for BKFC KnuckleMania 4, earning a $600,000 purse for his main event bout against Thiago Alves.
So, Mike Perry, right? Guy was the top earner at BKFC KnuckleMania 4. Bagged a cool $600,000 for his main event match against Thiago Alves. Happened last Saturday.
Perry’s a big deal in bare-knuckle boxing. Some even call him the face of the sport. And he proved it, too. Knocked out Alves in just a minute flat. Alves, by the way, didn’t walk away empty-handed. He pocketed $200,000, even though he lost.
The California State Athletic Commission let out the salary details after the event. The whole thing went down at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
But Perry and Alves weren’t the only ones raking in the big bucks. Five fighters in total scored six-figure paydays at the event. UFC veteran Ben Rothwell ($150,000), BKFC heavyweight champ Mick Terrill ($100,000), and two-division champ Lorenzo Hunt ($100,000) were among ’em.
