Bobby Green Alleges Arman Tsarukyan & Team Attacked Him at UFC Austin Hotel

UFC lightweight veteran Bobby Green claimed he was attacked by UFC Austin headliner Arman Tsarukyan and his team at the event’s host hotel, sharing videos of the incident on his Instagram account.

Bobby Green, a seasoned UFC lightweight, made a startling claim on Wednesday. He alleged that he was assaulted by Arman Tsarukyan, the UFC Austin headliner, and Tsarukyan’s team at the event’s host hotel.

Green took to his Instagram to share his side of the story. He posted a series of videos that seemed to show a confrontation with a group of men in a hotel lobby. One of the men appeared to be Tsarukyan.

In a video, Green tagged Tsarukyan and admitted to punching a man. He believed this man was part of Tsarukyan’s team. “Hey, I won’t be starting nothing with nobody, but if you start that s*** with me, I’m definitely gonna finish it,” Green stated in the video.

Green continued, “So this b******* ran up on me and s*** trying to start that s***. He didn’t know I was gonna finish s***. I socked one of his homies. Stop playing with me, bro.” He expressed his confusion about the identity of the man he punched. He asked for help to identify the man in the video, stating he didn’t know who he was.

A UFC official acknowledged a request for comment. They stated that the promotion is looking into the matter. Tsarukyan is set to headline Saturday’s UFC Austin opposite Beneil Dariush. Green, on the other hand, is scheduled to face Jalin Turner in the co-main event at Moody Center in Austin.

Originally, Green was slated to face Dan Hooker. However, Hooker was forced to pull out due to a broken arm. Turner was chosen to replace Hooker from a flurry of volunteers for the spot.

Earlier this month, Green made headlines when he declined a fight with Tsarukyan. He called Tsarukyan “a terrible f*cking fighter” and “boring.” Tsarukyan is currently on a two-fight winning streak and is 7-2 overall in the UFC. This record has earned him the No. 10 spot on the MMA Fighting Global Rankings. Green stands tied at No. 13 with Turner.
