Canelo Alvarez (61-2-2) enters this fight on a four-win streak, marking his second bout this year. Just this past May, he secured a unanimous decision victory over Jaime Munguia.
Edgar Berlanga (22-0) is fresh off a sixth-round knockout of Padraig McCrory in February, his only appearance in 2024 so far. Before McCrory, Berlanga’s last five fights all ended in decisions.
