According to a report from

, a super middleweight title fight between Canelo Alvarez and Edgar Berlanga is almost set for Sept. 14. The bout’s slated for T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, just a stone’s throw from the UFC’s September pay-per-view event, UFC 306 — their debut at Sphere.

Alvarez (61-2-2) is gearing up for his 66th professional boxing match. The undisputed super middleweight champ will make his second appearance this year after a dominant decision victory against Jaime Munguia in May. Four straight wins, including one over Gennadiy Golovkin, have kept him on top.

The undefeated Berlanga gets the biggest shot of his young career. At 27, he’s won all 22 of his pro bouts, including a sixth-round knockout over Padraig McCrory in February.
