Carl Froch Expresses Willingness to Fight Conor McGregor in the Cage, McGregor Reacts

Former WBC, IBF, and WBA super-middleweight boxing champion Carl Froch expressed that he is open to facing Conor McGregor in the cage, stating that McGregor is “too small” for him.

Carl Froch, the former WBC, IBF, and WBA super-middleweight boxing champion, expressed his willingness to face Conor McGregor in McGregor’s own arena. During a Q&A session on his Froch on Fighting YouTube channel, Froch stated that he’s too big and strong for both McGregor and Jake Paul. He went on to say that he’d only need one arm for Paul, while McGregor might present a few small problems. However, Froch made it clear that he wouldn’t need to train much for either fight.

Moreover, Froch is interested in taking on McGregor in the cage, admitting that he might be getting himself in trouble or a position he can’t wiggle out of, but still confident in his chances. This came after a series of back-and-forth exchanges between the two, with McGregor once tweeting that he’d twist Froch’s head clean off. Froch retorted that McGregor would “get f***** up” if they were to box, but McGregor never responded to that particular challenge.

Currently, both fighters have other priorities on their plates. McGregor is preparing for his UFC return after a two-year absence due to injury and is set to face former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler later this year. On the other hand, Froch is preparing for his induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame this summer.
