Carlos Prates ended a streak of UFC fights without a knockout by defeating Charles Radtke with a knee to the body at UFC Louisville, marking his ninth consecutive win and Radtke’s first UFC loss.
Carlos Prates didn’t let the UFC’s streak of fights without a knockout hit 20 straight bouts.
Facing Charles Radtke on the preliminary card of UFC Louisville, Prates fought at the KFC Yum! Center. After a string of decisions kicked off the event, Prates delivered a brutal knee to Radtke’s body. This earned him the first stoppage win of the night.
It was also the first knockout for the promotion since Khaos Williams‘ victory over Carlston Harris at UFC Vegas 92 on May 18.

With this win, Prates has now secured victories in nine consecutive bouts.
After earning a contract on the Contender Series last August, Prates picked up his first octagon victory with a second-round knockout of Trevin Giles at UFC Vegas 86 in February.
Radtke, on the other hand, suffered his first defeat as a member of the UFC roster.
