Chael Sonnen Teams Up with Chris Lytle & Austin Trout for BKFC 41 Broadcast

Chael Sonnen joins the BKFC 41 broadcast team for the event headlined by ex-UFC champion Luke Rockhold’s bare-knuckle boxing debut against Mike Perry.

Chael Sonnen will join the broadcast team for BKFC 41 on Saturday, an event headlined by ex-UFC champion Luke Rockhold making his bare-knuckle boxing debut against Mike Perry. Sonnen has previously hosted a pre-fight press conference for BKFC 41, standing between the fighters during an initial faceoff ahead of the event. Now, the always outspoken Sonnen will serve on the broadcast team for Saturday night’s event in Colorado.

Sonnen will be accompanied on the broadcast by BKFC regulars Sean Wheelock and UFC veteran Chris Lytle. Cyrus Fees also joins the broadcast team along with former world champion boxer Austin Trout, who made his bare-knuckle fighting debut earlier this year with a win over former UFC fighter Diego Sanchez. The pay-per-view main card is set to kick off at 9 p.m. ET and can be viewed through traditional outlets such as cable or satellite, as well as digitally through FITE, the BKFC app, and PPV.com.

The main card for the event is topped by Rockhold vs. Perry, with former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez making his bare-knuckle fighting debut against one-time UFC title challenger Chad Mendes. Additionally, Ben Rothwell will make his second appearance in the BKFC as he faces off against Josh Copeland, while Bec Rawlings challenges Christine Ferea for the BKFC flyweight title.
