Charles Oliveira was awarded the 2025 Forrest Griffin Community Award for his charitable work with the Charles doBronxs Institute, which supports local youth in Sao Paulo, and will receive his award at the UFC Hall of Fame ceremony in June.

Charles Oliveira has snagged the 2025 Forrest Griffin Community Award. 🏆

This award, part of the International Fight Week honors, is personally picked by UFC CEO Dana White. It celebrates fighters who go above and beyond in their charitable work. During the UFC Kansas City event, Oliveira was announced as this year’s winner for his incredible efforts with the Charles doBronxs Institute. This place offers local youth a brighter future through free arts, education, nutrition, and jiu-jitsu. Impressive, right?

He’ll officially get the award at the 2025 UFC Hall of Fame ceremony in June. Mark your calendars!

“Charles is not only a great athlete, but he’s also an amazing role model who enjoys giving back to the community,” White said. He praised Oliveira for his dedication to helping local youth in São Paulo, offering them free education and jiu-jitsu training. White added, “It’s an honor to present him with his award.”

As a bonus, Oliveira will receive a $25,000 donation for the charity of his choice, courtesy of the UFC Foundation. Nice perk!

While he waits for his next octagon assignment, Oliveira is still riding high from his dominant win over Michael Chandler at UFC 309 in November. Who’s next for him? Time will tell.
