Chris Curtis vs Roman Kopylov Set for Jan 11 UFC Event

Chris Curtis is scheduled to return to the UFC octagon in 2025, facing Roman Kopylov in a middleweight bout at a Fight Night event on January 11, after recovering from a torn hamstring and aiming to rebound from his recent split decision loss.

Chris Curtis is gearing up for a return to the UFC octagon in 2025. Exciting news, right?

Sources familiar with the promotion’s plans have spilled the beans to MMA Fighting. Curtis will go toe-to-toe with Roman Kopylov in a middleweight bout. Mark your calendars for Jan. 11 at a yet-to-be-disclosed location.

Curtis aims for his 10th promotional appearance, hoping to rebound after a split decision loss to Brendan Allen at UFC Vegas 90. That fight was a real nail-biter! “The Action Man” had to step back due to a torn hamstring but was originally slated against Kevin Holland at UFC 307. Bummer he had to withdraw.

On the flip side, Kopylov is coming off a win and eager to keep the momentum going. After Anthony Hernandez ended his four-fight streak at UFC 298, he bounced back with a split decision victory over Cesar Almeida at UFC 301. Remember his previous streak? He finished all four opponents!

So, who’s excited for this clash?
