Conor McGregor‘s fiancée, Dee Devlin, has defended him on Instagram following a High Court ruling that found him civilly liable for a 2018 sexual assault case, asserting his innocence and expressing their family’s unity despite the situation.
Conor McGregor’s fiancée, Dee Devlin, recently spoke out about the UFC star being found liable in a 2018 sexual assault case. McGregor was deemed civilly liable by a High Court jury and ordered to pay around $258,440 to Nikita Hand. However, McGregor plans to appeal, asserting that the encounter was “consensual.”
Devlin, who shares four children with McGregor, defended him on Instagram. She questioned Hand’s credibility and stood firmly by McGregor’s side. “Imagine a woman with her own family sending provocative photos to another woman’s partner,” she remarked.
She continued, criticizing Hand’s behavior over an alleged three-day bender. Devlin expressed disbelief at Hand’s actions, describing them as disrespectful and irresponsible. “What sort of woman are you!” she exclaimed.
“My sons will be warned women like you exist,” Devlin added. She emphasized the importance of CCTV footage from that night, claiming it shows a different narrative. To her, the video suggests Hand was the one causing trouble.
In another Instagram post, Devlin reaffirmed her unwavering support for McGregor. “Nothing or nobody will change that,” she declared. “Our family stands strong!”
Following the ruling, McGregor admitted regret over infidelity but denied any wrongdoing. The aftermath saw him removed as the face of Proper No. 12 Irish whiskey. Devlin mentioned that they had resolved these issues privately long ago.
“Conor and I dealt with these issues privately many years ago,” Devlin shared in her final Instagram story. “We have come out stronger than ever.” She highlighted their children’s happiness as proof of their resilience.
“They without sin cast the first stone,” she concluded, echoing a timeless sentiment of judgment and forgiveness.
