Dana White Criticizes Australian Reporters as Weakest in Media

Dana White criticized the Australian media for their negative headlines and perceived weakness, particularly regarding an article about his podcast appearance with the New South Wales Premier and another featuring UFC fighter Sean Strickland.

Dana White, never one to shy away from a media clash, found himself particularly irked by recent headlines in Australia. Despite his praise for Sydney hosting UFC 312, some stories caught his eye for all the wrong reasons.

The Daily Telegraph Sport ran a cover featuring Sean Strickland’s controversial remarks, with a provocative caption: Will someone please… KNOCK THIS GUY OUT. It didn’t sit well with White.

Another piece in the Sydney Morning Herald criticized White’s podcast appearance with New South Wales Premier Chris Minns, claiming it made the writer "feel sick." Bold words, right?

At the UFC 312 post-fight press conference, White lashed out. "For a place where everything can kill you, you have the biggest p*ssies I’ve ever seen in the media," he exclaimed. Quite the declaration!

He wasn’t genuinely angry about the article; instead, he mocked it. The idea that someone felt physically ill watching him chat with the premier? Laughable to him.

"We were cracking up at that guy," White shared. "He’s got to be the biggest f*cking wimp on planet Earth." Ouch.

Regarding Strickland’s photo and its bold caption, White was more shocked than offended. He knows Strickland can be abrasive but assured no government officials were upset about him headlining the event.

"I’m a big believer in free speech," White stated. "Your media are such weak human beings. I thought we had weak media. You guys win hands down."

Despite enjoying his trip to Australia, it’s doubtful White will be grabbing local newspapers for his flight back home. "Even your people know your media are f*cking weak," he told reporters. "We all know it now."

So there you have it—Dana White’s unfiltered take on Australian media during his latest visit Down Under.
