Dana White Plans Next Noche UFC Event at Las Vegas Sphere, Promises Unforgettable Show

UFC CEO Dana White has expressed his interest in hosting the promotion’s next Mexican Independence Day event at Las Vegas’ new and critically acclaimed $2.3 billion venue, The Sphere.

Dana White, the CEO of UFC, is keenly interested in organizing the UFC’s next Mexican Independence Day event. He expressed interest in this regard after the successful introductory U2 concert series at The Sphere, the new venue in Las Vegas that costs $2.3 billion. On Tuesday evening, White openly discussed his intentions in Las Vegas in light of the favorable reviews the venue and concert received, stating that he believes the venue to be more than just something to check out, and that he’s heard nothing but positive things about the U2’s concert experience.

White also mentioned his good relationship with the Madison Square Garden Company, which operates The Sphere, and his admiration for their successful opening of the venue. He compared the flawless first-night sequence of events at The Sphere with typical first nights in other places like restaurants and hotels, where problems and a scramble to make things work right are commonplace. White emphasized, however, that he had not heard a single negative comment about The Sphere’s debut. Instead, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

The Sphere, a one-of-a-its-kind 18,600-seater arena run by the Madison Square Garden Company, stands out for being the most expensive entertainment venue ever built in the history of Las Vegas. It recently witnessed Irish rock band U2 kick off their three-month long concert schedule with rave reviews. White expressed his excitement and affirmed his intent to host his first UFC event at this venue. He floated the possibility of the UFC’s annual Noche UFC event, targeted for Mexican Independence Day, being held at The Sphere.

White is thrilled about The Sphere’s grand opening and is now looking to get a piece of the action for the UFC. He has a particular date in mind for this venture and has committed to making the Noche UFC an annual feature in the promotional calendar of the UFC. He vowed to celebrate the next Mexican Independence Day at this spectacular venue. Comparing the step to hitting a grand slam home run, he said, “Imagine the show that I can put on at The Sphere with Mexican Independence Day. So yeah, we’ll f****** put on an incredible show in that amazing arena for the next Mexican Independence Day. So I’m very excited about it.”
