Dana White Unimpressed with Attempted Break-In at Maine Home, Police Arrest 23-Year-Old Suspect

Dana White, the president of UFC, successfully used his social media platform to help local police identify and arrest a suspect who attempted to break into his vacation home in Maine.

Dana White was taken aback when someone attempted a break in at his holiday home in Maine. Without any hesitation, he decided to bring this issue to public attention. This week, the UFC president uploaded a video on his Instagram which depicted a person trying to break down the door of his home and even making an attempt to steal the doorbell camera which recorded the entire incident. Undeterred by the audacity of the intruder, White offered a reward to anyone who could provide information leading to his capture. True to his word, the tactic worked and the perpetrator was apprehended by local law enforcement a few hours later.

Post the arrest,Dana White expressed his exasperation and disbelief at the brazenness of the criminal during the UFC’s Contender Series event on Tuesday, where he stated, “Do you f****** think that you’re going to break into my house and there’s no cameras at my house, you f****** idiots?” He then went on to elaborate on how the culprit tried to kick his door in but scampered away when they noticed the security camera. Dana White was informed by his house’s caretaker about the attempted break-in and the video evidence. Before the police had a chance to follow up on the lead, White shared the footage on social media in order to expedite the identification process of the suspect.

On Tuesday, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department released a statement declaring that an arrest had been made in the case and there were criminal charges filed against this person. The attempted burglary happened in a property owned by Dana White and located on Phillips Road in Levant on Monday, August 28, 2023 at approximately 1:45 am. According to Penobscot County Sheriff’s officials, when the first deputy arrived on the scene, the suspect had already made their getaway in a vehicle. The deputies then liaised with the property manager and obtained video evidence of the suspect. Even though the property was occupied during the incident, there was no contact with the culprit. When the video was made public on social media, they received a number of tips leading to the offender. Following the collection of evidence and analysis of information, the deputies spoke to one Brady Cooper, a 23-year-old resident of Glenburn. Cooper has been charged with two criminal offenses and the case has been handed over to the District Attorney’s Office for further handling.

Following the successful arrest, White issued a stern warning to anyone foolish enough to attempt a similar stunt on any of his properties stating, “Listen, whether you’re in Vegas or anywhere else, don’t f*** around, around my house. Good things are not going to happen to you around my house, I promise you that.”
