Dillon Danis Fires Back at Nate Diaz Following Loss to Logan Paul: Is UFC His Next Move?

Dillon Danis, following his loss to Logan Paul, has taken to social media to make provocative statements, including suggesting that he will be joining the UFC next and criticizing former UFC star Nate Diaz.

Dillon Danis is not backing down after his recent loss, as he took to social media to make his voice heard. Following a lackluster performance against Logan Paul in the main event of the Misfits Boxing: Prime Card, Danis resorted to an illegal choke attempt in the final round, resulting in his own disqualification. However, he remains defiant and even hinted at a move to the UFC with a simple two-word statement: “UFC next.”

This fight marked Danis’ return to the ring after a two-year absence, with his last bout in 2019 for Bellator. His previous MMA outings resulted in two first-round submissions and a flawless record. Despite his underwhelming showing against Paul, Danis chose to highlight his perceived accomplishments and take a swipe at former UFC star Nate Diaz. Jake Paul, Logan’s brother, had defeated Diaz via unanimous decision earlier this year, briefly stunning him with a knockdown in the fifth round.

On Twitter, Danis claimed that as a Jiu Jitsu specialist without any boxing training or coach, he never wobbled, dropped, or received a standing eight count. He also boasted about landing several significant strikes against his opponent. In a mocking tone, Danis suggested that Nate’s fiancée, Nina, should reconsider their upcoming wedding, insinuating that his loss proves he has achieved nothing in MMA and that he should switch to a new sport.

Danis further challenged those who doubted his ability to last in the ring and sarcastically mentioned Joe Rogan, a popular MMA commentator, who compared him to another notable fighter, Ben Askren. He also made a brief comment about random drug testing, implying a potential concern or suspicion. As the feud continues to unfold on social media, Danis makes his intentions clear with his bold statement of “UFC next,” leaving fans and critics to speculate on his future.
