Dillon Danis Lawyers Withdraw from Nina Agdal Lawsuit

Dillon Danis must find new legal representation after his attorneys requested to withdraw from the lawsuit filed by Nina Agdal due to his non-compliance with their retainer agreement and communication breakdowns.

Dillon Danis is in hot water. His lawyers have asked to withdraw from his case. Nina Agdal filed a lawsuit against him, and now he might need new legal representation.

On Sept. 12, Danis’ lead attorney, Mark Berman, filed a motion. This was on behalf of Hartmann Doherty Rosa Berman & Bulbulia LLP. The motion cited repeated issues with representing Danis.

The attorneys mentioned two main reasons for their withdrawal. First, Danis failed to comply with the retainer agreement. Second, there was a breakdown in communication.

Danis didn’t pay the firm’s invoices on time. He also didn’t maintain the required retainer agreement. This has been an ongoing problem.

Berman expressed some personal feelings in the filing. “I personally like Mr. Danis,” he wrote. He found the case interesting but couldn’t continue without proper communication and compliance from Danis.

Berman added that his firm wouldn’t allow him to represent Danis under these conditions. For these reasons, they asked the court to let them withdraw.

Agdal’s lawsuit dates back to September 2023. She accused Danis of posting harmful content about her over 250 times. This started after Danis booked a boxing match against Logan Paul, who is Agdal’s fiancé.

One post allegedly involved a sexually explicit image from over ten years ago. Agdal claims this violated both federal and state laws.

She’s asking for unspecified damages but wants at least $150,000 per violation of federal law. This law prohibits sharing intimate images without consent.

Judge Michael A. Hammer scheduled an in-person conference for Sept. 24. This will address the ongoing issues, including a search for Danis’ cell phone. Danis must appear in person for this conference.

So, Dillon Danis has quite a mess on his hands!
