Dominick Cruz Faces Rob Font in UFC Seattle Co-Main Event

Former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz is set to face Rob Font in the co-main event of UFC Seattle on February 22, marking his return to the octagon after a loss to Marlon Vera, while the event is headlined by Henry Cejudo vs. Song Yadong.

Dominick Cruz, the former UFC bantamweight champ, is gearing up for what could be his swan song in the octagon. Exciting times ahead!

Sources familiar with the promotion’s plans have spilled the beans to MMA Fighting. Cruz is set to clash with Rob Font in the co-main event of UFC Seattle on Feb. 22. ESPN got the scoop first, though.

It’s been a minute since Cruz last stepped into the cage; he faced a fourth-round KO defeat against Marlon Vera at UFC San Diego back in August 2022. Before that hiccup, “The Dominator” snagged decision wins over Casey Kenney and Pedro Munhoz. He hinted at wanting “one last dance” in early 2025. But will this fight be his curtain call? Only time will tell.

On the flip side, Font snapped a two-fight losing streak with a surprise win against Kyler Phillips at UFC Vegas 99 in October. The Massachusetts native, now 37, is about to make his 18th octagon appearance. Remember that stunning knockout of Adrian Yanez at UFC 287? Yeah, that was him.

The main event of UFC Seattle promises fireworks too, featuring a showdown between former two-division champ Henry Cejudo and Song Yadong. What a card!
