Eddie Hall Apologizes to Mariusz Pudzianowski After KSW 105 Win

Eddie Hall won his MMA debut against Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105, despite initial confusion and accidental fouls, and expressed interest in a potential rematch rather than pursuing a ranked fighting career.

Eddie Hall’s MMA debut was a mix of triumph and a few stumbles. On Saturday, the former World’s Strongest Man secured a quick victory, knocking out Mariusz Pudzianowski in just 30 seconds at KSW 105. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing. Hall faced some initial confusion when the round began, catching him off guard.

“My bad,” Hall admitted in a TikTok interview. He explained, “I thought you have your drink, then the ref says the rules, and you touch gloves. It’s different here in Poland. My apologies for that. It’s my first MMA fight.”

Once the fight kicked off, Hall wasted no time making an impact. Despite Pudzianowski’s experience, Hall’s early combination stunned him. Pudzianowski tried to grapple, but Hall overpowered him, delivering relentless punches until the referee stepped in.

However, not everything was perfect. Hall acknowledged that a few punches landed on the back of Pudzianowski’s head, which the latter noted post-fight. Hall showed remorse for this, saying, “I think I hit him once or twice in the back of the head. My apologies. It was an accident.”

After the win, the conversation shifted to Hall’s future in MMA. KSW CEO Martin Lewandowski hinted at a potential matchup with PFL heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. Hall, however, has his sights set elsewhere.

Jon Jones,” Hall joked in a post-fight scrum. “Just kidding. No Jon Jones. I’ve got to step back and evaluate. Maybe a rematch with Mariusz, but I have no aspirations to be a ranked fighter. I’m looking for fights that make sense, perhaps with another World’s Strongest Man.”
