Fabricio Andrade Defeats Kwon Won Il in 42 Seconds at ONE 170

Fabricio Andrade successfully defended his ONE Championship bantamweight title by defeating Kwon Won II with a body strike stoppage in Bangkok, earning a $50,000 bonus for his performance.

Fabricio Andrade stopped Kwon Won II in devastating fashion to successfully defend his ONE Championship bantamweight title Friday in Bangkok, Thailand.

Before their rematch, Andrade told MMA Fighting, “the fact I knocked him out with a kick to the body shows he can’t take a hit to the body.” Reflecting on his swift 62-second win from 2022, he proved his point even faster this time. Impressive, right?

“Wonder Boy” targeted Won II’s body with brutal kicks early on. The South Korean bantamweight had enough and tried taking the Brazilian down. But Andrade? He swiftly broke the clinch, continuing his relentless body attacks. A knee and punch combo sent Won II crashing down in agony.

ONE announced after the finish that Andrade has earned a $50,000 bonus for his performance. Not bad at all! Andrade now boasts a 10-2 record as a professional MMA fighter, with five knockouts under the ONE banner. Remember his title-winning stoppage over John Lineker in February 2023? Quite the resume.
