Fight Circus 6 Highlights: Bob Sapp & Rampage Jackson Triumph in Siamese Boxing; Fighter Dominates 2 vs. 1 Battle with Powerbombs

Fight Circus 6 featured former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson and PRIDE veteran Bob Sapp winning a chaotic siamese boxing match via third-round TKO.

Saturday witnessed several combat sports events, but none were more bizarre than the latest Fight Circus offering. Fight Circus 6 took place on FITE, and in the main event, former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson teamed up with fellow PRIDE veteran Bob Sapp for a siamese boxing match against promoter Jon Nutt and his partner Woody. The fight quickly went off the rails, as expected.

“Rampage” and Sapp landed a knockdown in the first that sent a competitor through the ropes – this was just the beginning. In the second round, things got increasingly out of hand. As the referees tried to separate Jackson and Sapp from their opponents, both fighters landed punches on some of the officials. One referee took exception, shooting a single-leg takedown on Jackson while he returned some punches. It was complete pandemonium.

In the end, Jackson and Sapp claimed victory with a third-round TKO. Earlier in the night, a round of “Musical Chairs of Doom” was played, resulting in competitors finding themselves in various matchups based on where they placed in the competition. The third and fourth place participants faced Walter John Veale in a 2 vs. 1 “MMA-symetrical” fight, which only lasted mere seconds as Veale power-bombed both of his opponents and the fight was stopped – a fitting tribute to WrestleMania 39 weekend.
