Paige VanZant aims to be a versatile combat sports athlete, competing in various disciplines including Power Slap, BKFC, boxing, professional wrestling, and potentially returning to UFC.
Paige VanZant wants to be the iron woman of combat sports. She hopes to compete in every kind of possible fight.
VanZant competes at this Friday’s Power Slap event in Las Vegas. It’s her debut in the newest promotion from UFC CEO Dana White.
She had a multi-year run with UFC before parting ways with the company. Since then, she’s competed for BKFC, boxing, and even dabbled in professional wrestling with AEW.
Prior to the bout, “12 Gauge” was featured at the UFC 303 media day. She spoke with reporters about her decision to compete in Power Slap and her preparation for her slap fighting debut.
VanZant also discussed if she still plans to compete for BKFC in the future. Plus, she expressed hopes to rematch Elle Brooke later this year for Misfits Boxing.
Could a UFC return happen? She touched on that too, and more.
