He took to Instagram to share his ambitions. He posted a video, set to the tunes of J. Cole’s MIDDLE CHILD. In it, he penned down his hit list for the year. Geoff Neal, Colby Covington, and a mystery name made the cut.
The final target’s surname wasn’t mentioned. But, it’s not hard to guess. It’s probably Sean Strickland. Remember the public feud between Machado Garry and the UFC middleweight champion in late 2023? They even had a run-in at the UFC Performance Institute.
Covington was also on Machado Garry’s bad side. The drama unfolded post-UFC 296 when Covington attacked his wife. This incident added fuel to the already burning feud between Machado Garry and Strickland.
Machado Garry’s got a fight lined up. He’s set to face Neal at UFC 298. The event is scheduled for Feb. 17 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. The headline for the event? A featherweight title matchup between Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria. It’s gonna be a blast!
