Jai Opetaia’s on fire! His latest victim? David Nyika, who couldn’t withstand the Aussie’s powerful punches.

Tuesday night, in Gold Coast, Australia, Opetaia showcased his might. He defended his IBF cruiserweight title by brutally knocking out Nyika in the fourth round. Nyika was previously undefeated, but not anymore.

Check out that thudding KO finish below. Seriously, it’s a must-watch.

The end came with a picture-perfect right uppercut from Opetaia. Nyika hit the canvas hard! Amazingly, he got up before the count finished, though he looked pretty dazed when the fight resumed.

Opetaia didn’t let up. He stalked Nyika, pushing him back to the ropes. Then came another zinging right hand, followed by two more power punches. Nyika found himself briefly tangled in the ropes before collapsing face-down. Game over.

This marks Opetaia’s sixth consecutive title fight victory. He’s now 27-0 with 21 knockouts and holds titles with both the IBF and *The Ring*. Quite the record!

For Nyika, this was his first professional loss after knocking out nine of his initial ten opponents. He stepped in as a replacement for Huseyin Cinkara, who had to pull out due to an ankle injury. Tough break!
