Jake Paul Confident of Knockout Win against Nate Diaz, Highlights Distinction between UFC Champion & Boxer

Jake Paul is not only predicting a win against Nate Diaz in their upcoming boxing match, but he is also confidently guaranteeing a knockout victory.

Jake Paul is confidently forecasting not just a win but a knockout against Nate Diaz. The bout will take place on Aug. 5 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas and marks Diaz’s first fight since his departure from the UFC. The former Disney Channel star anticipates that the octagon professional will struggle during his boxing premiere.

Paul pins his confidence on his eagerness to prove his capabilities in boxing, reflecting, “I have the biggest chip on my shoulder, the biggest chip on both shoulders, coming back with a vengeance, refilled with that hunger that I had in the beginning of the sport to prove to people what I was capable of.” He assures the audience that he’s returning with the ferocity of a lion, opting to have his actions do most of his speaking. Paul pledges to be the first to stop Diaz on Aug. 5, declaring confidently, “100 percent, he’s going to sleep.”

While Diaz has previously been halted in MMA, he has never been knocked out. Indeed, Paul’s boxing career has been characterized by harsh defeats dealt to former MMA combatants, including Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. Nevertheless, Paul recently experienced his first boxing loss, falling in a split decision to Tommy Fury in a heated match in February. Paul believes this setback has honed his fighting skills and predicts an unpleasant surprise for Diaz come August.

Paul maintains a quiet certainty for the upcoming fight, suggesting that once Diaz experiences his speed, power, and skill and finds that he can’t hit him, Diaz will realize his mistake and anticipate an impending humiliation. After this victory, Paul shares that a potential rematch with Tommy Fury is a possibility, but clarifies that his primary focus currently resides on the Aug. 5 match with Diaz. Paul mentions other possible competitors such as KSI but concludes by reiterating his intention to ensure Diaz’s defeat.
