Jake Paul Knocks Out Mike Perry, Challenges UFC Champ Alex Pereira

Jake Paul defeated Mike Perry with three knockdowns, culminating in a sixth-round stoppage, and subsequently called out both Mike Tyson and Alex Pereira for future boxing matches.

Jake Paul delivered on his promise to finish “The King of Violence” by scoring three knockdowns before finally putting an end to Mike Perry in the sixth round.

Facing an undersized opponent who offered very little defense, Paul teed off on Perry. He put the BKFC superstar down on the canvas in both the first and second rounds Saturday night at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. Still, Perry kept coming back for more. The UFC veteran showed far more toughness than skill when it came to his boxing prowess.

There were a couple of moments when it looked like the referee might stop it. But Perry refused to go away. It wasn’t until the sixth round that Paul wobbled Perry again and then put him down on the canvas for the final time with a flurry of shots.

Perry climbed back to his feet to beat the 10-count. However, after stumbling when the referee commanded to see his balance, the fight was waved off. The official time of the stoppage came at 1:12 of the sixth round.

“He’s tough as nails,” Paul said of Perry. “I’m sorry it took so long. Respect to Mike Perry.”

Paul continued, “I just hit too hard; he took a lot of damage. I kind of expected that.”

“I put him down in the first round but he survived it,” he added.

Then Paul made a bold statement: “Mike Tyson, you’re next big boy, sign the contract.”

Paul is expected to face the 58-year-old former heavyweight champion in a boxing match on November 15 after they were originally set to meet Saturday. Tyson dealt with health issues that prevented him from fighting, so they re-booked instead.

While that remains his top priority, Paul also made another callout — this time taking aim at a current UFC champion.

“Alex Pereira, you said you want to box; I’m king of this,” Paul shouted. “Come over; we can make it happen. I want you Alex Pereira.”

“I just beat a BKFC champion,” he declared proudly.
“I beat multiple UFC champions,” he boasted.
“He said he wants to box,” Paul reiterated.
“Alex Pereira, after Mike Tyson, let’s make it happen,” he concluded.

Before calling out Tyson and Pereira, Paul had to dish out a whole lotta punishment to Perry—almost too tough for his own good! With Perry showing very little defense…Paul snapped off an overhand right early in Round One that put him down on canvas…though Perry was quick back up!

Perry struggled with Paul’s size and reach.

Second round? More same story from Paul…allowed Perry march forward while setting up powerful punches! That’s when BOOM! Another huge right hand sat Perry down again!

Perry wobbled getting back up but refused backing down! Came after Paul with everything—just when looked like knockout was near? BAM! Big left hand from Perry!

Perry marched forward maniacally even while getting outboxed—furious combos aimed at Paul.

Paul still landed better punches though…but guess what? Perry opened cut over Paul’s eye making social influencer backup!

Perry seemed gaining momentum but then? Fourth round started & Paul’s second wind kicked in—looking for knockout again! Left jab followed by hellacious right hand constantly finding home on Perry’s chin…

Perry almost looked out on feet as fight continued.

Paul picked & chose shots looking for finish.

Perry had no way stopping lead jab…

Dazed on feet after absorbing brutal series punches?

BAM!

A barrage from Paul ended fight mercifully…

“Tried rolling punches hitting your ass back,”Perry admitted post-fight. “You did great job—way too fast for me—I couldn’t adjust.”

“Kid hit me hard,”Perry confessed. “Too fast & adjusted well.” He added: “Making right moves & adjustments.”Sighing, “Too clean…too fast.”

Sick leading up?No problem!KNUCKLE BROKEN?!?No worries!I’M A WARRIOR!!!

“Didn’t feel good tonight,”says PAUL. “Sick leading up…knuckle messed up—basically broken before fight.” Yet? Still got job done…

“Mike [Tyson], love ya—but my sport now!”says PAUL BOLDLY!!!. “Honor getting ring with you—but taking your throne.”
