Jake Paul Questions Brother Logan’s Claim of Mike Tyson Fight Offer

Jake Paul will fight Mike Tyson in a boxing match on Netflix in July, while his brother Logan Paul revealed he declined a similar offer, leading to a public disagreement between the two brothers.

Jake and Logan Paul’s folks might wanna call a family huddle. Why, you ask? Well, it’s all about boxing and the Paul brothers.

Jake Paul’s set to throw punches with Mike Tyson in a Netflix boxing match this July. Yeah, you heard that right. But here’s the kicker: Logan Paul was also offered a similar deal. He spilled the beans on his podcast, saying he was asked to fight Tyson too.

Logan’s response? A big fat no. He turned down the offer, despite believing he could take Tyson down in the ring. “I said no to fighting Mike Tyson,” he confessed on his Impaulsive podcast. “I was offered it, but not on Netflix and not for a big ass bag. It was just like, this could be a real fight.”

He’s been asked before if he thinks he could beat Tyson. His answer? A resounding yes. He thinks Tyson’s too old. “That’s crazy. He’s senile,” he added.

Jake Paul got wind of this. He responded on his Betr podcast, addressing his brother’s claims about a potential Tyson fight. Jake spilled the tea on how the fight came together. According to him, it wasn’t Tyson hunting for an opponent. It was a juicy offer from Netflix that got both fighters on board.

Jake said, “That situation is always tough for me because I hate that my brother and I’s relationship sometimes has to be aired out, but it seems as if the court of public opinion is the only thing that steers him in the right direction. But it is weird to lie, to blatantly just lie.”

Jake and his team, Nakisa Bidarian and Most Valuable Promotions, curated a deal with Netflix. They signed a deal, aiming to find another fighter for Jake. They had three tiers of fighters, A, B, and C. Each tier had a different payout. They brought the Netflix deal to Tyson, who was an ‘A’ level fighter. Jake said, “Tyson was never in the market offering people to fights for anyone to turn down. Yes, it is weird to go online and lie.”

Jake’s had his share of verbal spats with Logan during his boxing career. But this incident seems to have really ticked him off. Instead of celebrating his massive fight against Tyson, Jake felt like Logan was trying to steal his thunder. He said, “It’s tough. Then it’s like, why is my own brother trying to make me look the second option for Tyson. Like, ‘Oh yeah, I turned down that deal.’ No, you didn’t. That’s a complete lie. Why are you fabricating lies?”

Jake would rather not air his family’s dirty laundry in public. But dealing with his brother seems to make that a recurring problem. “I am always having to defend myself and be undermined and be little bro’d,” he said. “Then I have to just not allow it to happen. I’m just taking shots and then I have to explain because I get thrown into it.”

  1. Logan’s weird, and he looks ridiculous when he boxes. Pretty bold of him to make the claim that he can beat Mike Tyson. I, like most people, believe that Mike would mop the floor with his broccoli cut.
