The Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry boxing event on July 20 in Tampa will feature former UFC fighter Uriah Hall facing Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., along with several other bouts, and will be streamed on DAZN pay-per-view.
The Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry boxing event has added another familiar name from the MMA world.
Most Valuable Promotions announced six new bouts for the July 20 card at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. Among the additions is former UFC fighter Uriah Hall returning to the boxing ring to face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
The cruiserweight bout is contested over six rounds.
“I’m excited to get back to competing in the boxing ring on Saturday, July 20,” Hall said in a press release. “I’m ready to challenge myself against a well-known boxer and former world champion in Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.”
Hall faced former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell at the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva event in October 2022. He won by unanimous decision.
Additionally, Ashton “H2O” Sylve faces Lucas Bahdi in a matchup between undefeated lightweights on the main card.
Preliminary bouts include Shadasia Green vs. Natasha Spence in an eight-round super middleweight bout. Also, Angel Barrientes takes on Edwin Rodriguez in the super bantamweight division.
Alexis Chaparro faces Kevin Hill, and Tampa’s Ariel Perez battles Dane Guerrero.
Paul and Perry — the face of BKFC — cap off the card with an eight-round cruiserweight contest.
The main card streams on DAZN pay-per-view for $64.99.
