Jon Jones Named Dirty Boxing Co-Owner

Jon Jones has become a co-owner of Dirty Boxing Championship, joining forces with Mike Perry and continuing his collaboration with managers Malki and Abe Kawa, while his UFC career remains on hold as he considers future fight options.

Guess what? Jon Jones is teaming up with Mike Perry.

Friday brought the news from Dirty Boxing Championship. The UFC heavyweight champ, once a light heavyweight legend, is now a co-owner of this combat sports promotion. TMZ broke the story first.

“I was hooked from the first show,” Jones exclaimed in the announcement. “I believe this is going to be a powerhouse of combat sports. I’m proud to sign my name next to it.”

This move keeps Jones connected with managers Malki and Abe Kawa. They, along with Perry, kicked off Dirty Boxing back in 2024. What’s unique? Fighters use five-ounce gloves, and they allow elbows with limited ground-and-pound. Intriguing, right?

Their next big event? It’s happening Saturday. Yoel Romero, the former UFC middleweight title challenger, takes on Ras Hylton in a heavyweight clash. Andrei Arlovski, an ex-UFC heavyweight champ, faces Terrance Hodges in the co-main event.

Jones plans to attend Saturday’s show in Miami. Should be interesting!

Meanwhile, Jones’ UFC career is kinda paused. Fans are eager to see if he’ll face interim heavyweight champ Tom Aspinall. But “Bones”? He’s not convinced about Aspinall and seems more interested in Alex Pereira—a guy who just lost his light heavyweight title to Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313.
