Jorge Masvidal & Conor McGregor’s fight is a promoter’s dream come true.

Jorge Masvidal says a fight between him and Conor McGregor would be a promoter’s dream, but McGregor has yet to sign a bout agreement.

Jorge Masvidal, a professional UFC fighter, is preparing for his upcoming fight against Gilbert Burns at UFC 287 on Saturday, where he hopes to secure a title shot against Leon Edwards. However, Masvidal’s eyes are also set on a bigger prize – a fight against former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor.

Masvidal believes a fight between himself and McGregor would be a “promoter’s dream,” citing his past success in pay-per-view sales and McGregor’s own popularity. Although a signed bout agreement with Michael Chandler, who coached The Ultimate Fighter against McGregor, has not materialized, Masvidal believes a fight with McGregor would be bigger.

While McGregor’s fighting style may prove effective against other opponents, Masvidal believes he has the upper hand. He stated, “I’m going to beat the f**king piss out of him in standup…I’m a bigger, stronger, meaner guy.” And while Masvidal is confident in his abilities, he admits that the decision ultimately lies with McGregor.

Masvidal acknowledges that McGregor has previously faced opponents that he has been able to dismantle, but he still believes he has a better chance against him than anyone else. In fact, Masvidal believes that fighting McGregor would not only bring him closer to his ultimate goal of a championship title, but also allow him to set records in the process.
