Jose Aldo’s Explicit Reaction to Conor McGregor’s Boxing Challenge

Jose Aldo responds with profanity to Conor McGregor‘s callout for a boxing match.

Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo had a profanity-laden response to a callout from his longtime rival, Conor McGregor, for a boxing match following Aldo’s majority draw against former UFC fighter Jeremy Stephens. The fight took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Aldo believed he won four of the six rounds, but the judges did not see it that way.

McGregor took to Twitter to call out Aldo, and Gamebred Boxing promoter Jorge Masvidal quickly showed his support for the potential match. Aldo responded to McGregor’s callout during the Gamebred Boxing 4 Post-fight Press Conference and didn’t hold back his feelings towards his rival.

Aldo referred to McGregor’s attitude and language, calling him a “big mouth” and adding that he always talks “a lot of sh*t.” He also mentioned that McGregor has a scheduled fight, so he should focus on that instead of calling out potential opponents.

McGregor defeated Aldo by knockout in 2015 to capture the UFC championship, but he never defended the title, and Aldo never received a rematch. Aldo’s heated response to McGregor’s callout suggests that he still has a lot of animosity towards him, stemming from their previous rivalry.

Although it’s unclear whether the boxing match will happen, it’s clear that both fighters have a competitive streak that won’t be tamed anytime soon. Fans of both fighters will have to wait and see if a matchup between them materializes.
