Kayla Harrison’s Biggest Challenge: No UFC, Bellator, or PFL Opponents Scare Me!

Kayla Harrison’s options in the women’s lightweight division are limited, so she is considering a permanent move down to 145 pounds, but she is currently scheduled to fight at a catchweight of 150 pounds and is open to fighting anyone, regardless of weight class or promotion.

Kayla Harrison has long considered making a move down to 145 pounds in the women’s lightweight division, where there are far more established opponents. However, due to the replacement of her opponent by UFC veteran Aspen Ladd on short notice, she is now scheduled to compete at a catchweight of 150 pounds. Nevertheless, the opponent does not matter much to Harrison, as she is just looking for a fight, regardless of who it is.

Harrison’s potential move down to 135 pounds may challenge her in ways requiring significant changes to her lifestyle and training regimen. Nonetheless, she remains optimistic and believes that whatever is meant to be, will be. Her focus continues to be on welcoming fights against anyone, whether it be a rematch with Larissa Pacheco in the PFL, a showdown against Cris Cyborg, or even a future in the UFC.

Despite potential obstacles, such as weight-cutting, that may lie ahead, Harrison expresses confidence in her abilities and willingness to put it all on the line. She approaches these challenges with the same ferocity as her fights, showing that she is not afraid to push herself and prove that she is capable of overcoming any obstacles that may come her way.
