KSI & Tommy Fury Gearing up for Epic Boxing Clash in Manchester, England

YouTube star KSI is set to face boxer Tommy Fury in a boxing match in Manchester, England, after building a 3-0 record in the sport and previously fighting Logan Paul.

Internet sensation and boxer KSI is bracing himself up for the defining moment of his career as he crosses paths with Tommy Fury in an eagerly awaited boxing match. This high-voltage encounter is due to take place on October 14, with the venue being Manchester, England. Discussions around the bout, several months in the making, concluded with an official announcement on a Sunday. KSI isn’t shying away from expressing his confidence about trouncing Fury, an achievement his archival, Jake Paul, couldn’t attain in February.

With a triumphant tone, KSI stated, “October 14, I’m doing what Jake Paul couldn’t and beating Tommy Fury on the biggest night in crossover boxing history, at Manchester’s AO Arena, live on DAZN PPV on the Prime card!”. The comment hints at the pulsating rivalry between KSI and Fury but didn’t go unresponded to. Trashing KSI’s claims, Fury retorted, “You’re getting knocked out in front of my home crowd. This is gonna be fun.”

Before becoming a boxer, KSI enjoyed fame as a social influencer as well as a YouTube star and had an eventful stint in the boxing ring against Logan Paul. Continuing his foray into boxing, KSI made it to a commendable 3-0 before his winning streak was disrupted. He delivered an elbow strike to his recent opponent, Joe Fournier, which deemed their fight completed. Initially, it was considered a knockout victory for KSI; however, on reviewing the footage, it was clear that the elbow, not the fist, was used. This victory was subsequently nulled and recorded as a no contest.

KSI now faces the uphill challenge of defeating Fury who sports an unbeaten 9-0 record, including a split-decision win against Jake Paul in February. Fury is famously known as the younger brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, who himself is slated to take on Francis Ngannou two weeks after KSI’s match, on October 28. KSI’s face-off with Paul is an event under Misfits Boxing label, a promotion pioneered by KSI, and will be broadcasted on DAZN pay-per-view in October.
