KSI Unveils UFC Fighters Who Declined to Fight Him

KSI is set to fight Dillon Danis on March 29 after multiple UFC fighters declined his challenge, with KSI expressing confidence that Danis will participate due to financial pressures from a lawsuit filed by Logan Paul’s fiancée.

KSI, the social media sensation, is stepping back into the boxing ring on March 29. He’ll face off against Dillon Danis, a fight initially set for 2023 but never happened.

Danis pulled out last time, leaving KSI frustrated. Interestingly, this wasn’t even KSI’s first choice of opponent. On Tuesday, he shared that his team had reached out to several UFC stars for a March bout, only to be turned down by all.

“You guys always say my opponents are weak, but how many pull out?” KSI questioned on YouTube. “You don’t get how many refuse to fight me.”

“Even with this fight, I know I’m not supposed to say it but screw it,” KSI continued. “Dillon Danis wasn’t even my fourth choice. We approached Nate Diaz—he declined. Same with Donald Cerrone and Tony Ferguson. Even Jorge Masvidal couldn’t do it due to UFC commitments. We’ve been trying hard to find opponents.”

None of those fighters have responded publicly. Both Cerrone and Masvidal are tied up with exclusive UFC contracts, making them unavailable. Ferguson recently signed with GFL and plans to debut there soon.

That leaves Nate Diaz, who hasn’t fought since a thrilling match against Masvidal in July 2024. Whether he seriously considered fighting KSI remains unclear.

KSI also addressed fans’ calls for a match against Darren Till. Till recently transitioned successfully to boxing, even securing a brutal victory over Anthony Taylor.

“I know you’re thinking ‘what about Darren Till?’ But he’s unlikely to fight at my weight class,” KSI explained. “Even if he did, he wouldn’t agree to the rehydration clause. He’s huge compared to me.”

“I walk around at 190-195 pounds; Darren’s at 220,” KSI added. “I’m not letting him pull a Tommy Fury—cutting weight just to balloon back up later. So guess what? It’s Dillon Danis.”

While KSI considered many potential opponents, he’s not too upset about facing Danis given their history.

When Danis backed out previously, KSI had to scramble for a new opponent but now feels confident Danis will show up this time—perhaps because he has no other option.

“I was supposed to fight him at Misfits 3, but he pulled out,” KSI noted. “Now I finally get my chance. This time he’s not backing out; he’s being sued by Logan Paul and needs money for court costs.”

“So he needs every penny,” KSI continued excitedly. “I’m thrilled at the prospect of being the first to knock out Dillon Danis—a fantastic day awaits!”

Danis is currently tangled in a lawsuit filed by Logan Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal. She claims his social media posts caused her humiliation and distress leading up to his fight against Paul.

Besides discussing potential opponents, KSI touched on his long-standing feud with Jake Paul—a rivalry that’s been brewing since both entered boxing.

Paul recently made headlines trying to secure a fight with Canelo Alvarez, which fell through when Canelo signed a four-fight deal in Saudi Arabia instead.

Afterward, Paul criticized Canelo for avoiding him. But KSI thinks Jake should’ve seen through it from the start.

“Jake Paul cried over not getting the Canelo fight,” KSI remarked. “He never had it! Canelo was just trolling—why would he want Jake Paul?”

“[Jake’s] running away from me!” exclaimed KSI. “Bro doesn’t wanna fight me—just like those ex-UFC guys. No one does! People face Jake because they think they can beat him since he’s not that good.”
