An energy drink legal dispute between Logan Paul and Lionel Messi has escalated, with Messi’s bodyguard Yassine Chueko challenging Paul to a boxing match on behalf of Messi, following allegations of trademark infringement between their respective brands.
Picture this: an energy drink feud spirals into a potential boxing match between Logan Paul and Lionel Messi. Messi’s bodyguard, Yassine Chueko, has thrown his hat in the ring, ready to represent the legendary footballer.
Chueko isn’t just any bodyguard; he’s got martial arts chops. Social media buzzed with clips of his lightning-fast reflexes while safeguarding Messi on and off the pitch.
“Hey Logan, I’m making this video ’cause folks keep stopping me, messaging me, commenting everywhere about this fight,” Chueko said in an Instagram post. “The cat’s outta the bag now. No turning back. Let’s give the people what they want.”
This all kicked off when Messi launched Mas+, his energy drink, which Paul claims looks suspiciously like PRIME. Lawsuits flew from both sides, according to Goal.
Paul fired back on TikTok: “Bro, you copied us. Everyone saw it. We get sued? Hold up, what? That’s not justice! So we countersued. Can’t beat ’em? Be ’em. But that’s illegal—trademark infringement, plain and simple. We’re holding him accountable, or is it harassment?”
Half-jokingly, Paul proposed dropping the lawsuit if Messi squares off with him in the ring come 2025. The YouTuber last fought in October 2023 against Dillon Danis in a wild exhibition match. Now, Chueko’s stepping up.
“Hope you see this,” Chueko wrote on Instagram. “Let’s quit the social media chatter after this.”
