YouTuber Logan Paul is returning to the boxing ring with a fight against former grappling champion and MMA fighter, Dillon Danis, co-headlining with a match between KSI and Tommy Fury.
Logan Paul is returning to the boxing ring, where he will face Dillon Danis as part of the anticipated KSI against Tommy Fury card. This event is set to take place on October 14, in Manchester, England. Paul, who last boxed Floyd Mayweather two years ago, commented on his Instagram account, “October 14 I return to boxing after fighting Floyd Mayweather over two years ago. I doubt this little parasite will show up but if he does I’m going to erase him from existence.” Paul was one of the first social media influencers to try his luck in boxing. He initially fought in two matches against KSI before they became friends. Now, Paul and KSI will co-headline a boxing event in October.
On the other hand, Dillon Danis, a former grappling champion and Bellator fighter, is also making his comeback to combat sports after a four year hiatus. Known for being a longtime teammate and training partner of Conor McGregor, Danis left his career in martial arts to pursue Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). He joined Bellator and quickly celebrated victories in back-to-back fights.
Danis has been vocal about his impending return to the combat sports industry, despite not being scheduled for a fight by Bellator since 2019. He signed up for a separate boxing match against KSI in January but eventually left the card. This time, however, it is expected that Danis will face against Paul in the boxing ring as part of the same event that will also feature KSI. Danis expressed his defiance towards Paul’s accomplishments saying, “I couldn’t care less what Logan Paul has done in the WWE, because when he is in the boxing ring, he is in a completely different world. It’s a world of pain, a world where he doesn’t have control and it’s my world, not his. On October 14, in Manchester, Logan Paul is getting beat down.” The upcoming card where Paul faces Danis, and KSI opposes Fury will be held at the AO Arena in Manchester. The event will be broadcast live on the U.S.’s DAZN pay-per-view.
