Logan Paul Challenges Conor McGregor with $1M Bet on Dillon Danis Fight Outcome

Logan Paul has challenged Conor McGregor to a $1 million bet that he will defeat Dillon Danis, a close friend of McGregor’s, in their upcoming boxing match.

Logan Paul, renowned for his Internet personality and recent forays into boxing, has issued a bold challenge to Conor McGregor. In a shock move, Paul has offered to make a substantial $1 million bet with McGregor, confidently asserting that he will defeat Dillon Danis in their upcoming fight. Known for his MMA and Brazilian jiu-jitsu prowess, Danis is a familiar face in the fighting world and a close associate of McGregor’s.

On October 14, in Manchester, England, Paul is set to return to the boxing ring against Danis. Despite yet to secure a win in his boxing career, Paul is no stranger to high-profile fights. He previously went eight rounds in an exhibition bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and has twice faced fellow influencer KSI. In their amateur bout, Paul and KSI drew, but during their professional rematch, KSI prevailed with a split decision win over Paul.

Danis, albeit a successful jiu-jitsu fighter, has largely remained unnoticed in global combat sports since his transition to MMA in 2018. He holds a 2-0 record in the Bellator cage but has not stepped into the ring since June 2019. His most recent scheduled fight with KSI, an exhibition bout planned for January 2023, was called off, with KSI’s team accusing Danis of withdrawing due to being under-prepared and overweight.

In recent times, both McGregor and Danis have been actively posting images of their collective training sessions on social media platforms. McGregor, fondly known as “The Notorious,” expressed absolute certainty that his longtime associate, Danis, will triumph in the upcoming fight. This past weekend, while speaking with Matchroom Boxing, McGregor stated, “Dillon will win for sure. They’re already backtracking right now. They woke an animal. I’ve known Dillon years and I’ve trained with him many times. I’m going to train him for this and I guarantee a win, so I hope (Paul) shows up.”
