Logan Paul believes that despite Mike Perry’s reputation for toughness, Jake Paul’s superior boxing skills and physical advantages will lead to a decisive victory in their upcoming match.
Logan Paul, though clearly biased, predicts a rough night for Mike Perry on July 20.
The BKFC star and ex-UFC fighter will face Logan’s younger brother, Jake Paul, in a boxing match at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. Jake has the edge physically and statistically. But many think Perry’s toughness and relentless style will be Jake’s biggest challenge yet.
Logan disagrees. He took to Instagram Stories to voice his opinion.
“I see a lot of people saying, ‘Mike’s the toughest guy on the planet, this is Jake’s biggest challenge yet,’” Logan said. “Yo, you’re fools. You are fools if you think Mike Perry stands a chance against Jake Paul.”
Perry won against Michael Seals in a hybrid-rules boxing match at Triller Triad Combat back in November 2021. Since then? Five straight wins in the BKFC ring.
But Logan insists that Perry’s grit won’t cut it against his younger brother’s power punches.
“I don’t give a shit how tough you are,” Logan stated bluntly. “Can you box? When Mike Perry tries to use his head against my brother’s cannon of a right hand, I promise you, it’s going to be devastating for him.”
“Jake already beat Tyron Woodley — floored him twice — who is much better than Mike Perry,” he continued. “Perry is an MMA fighter who didn’t quite make it so he went into [BKFC]. Yes, he’s a badass. Yes, he can brawl. But this isn’t brawling; this is boxing.”
“This is playing chess with your fists,” Logan added. “My brother has been doing this for six years now. It’s all he wants, and I promise you he’s going to shock the world once again.”
