Tensions between UFC 304 flyweights Manel Kape and Muhammad Mokaev escalated into a brawl at the event’s host hotel, with both fighters exchanging insults on social media ahead of their upcoming bout in Manchester.
Manel Kape and Muhammad Mokaev really don’t like each other. Tensions between the two UFC 304 flyweights have been escalating.
On Wednesday, a brawl broke out at the event’s host hotel in Manchester. Footage of the incident emerged online, confirming a melee between Kape and Mokaev.
MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck verified the authenticity of the clip. The video can be watched below.
Afterward, both fighters took to Instagram Stories to address the situation. Kape posted a photo of Mokaev with a cut above his left brow, captioned “my bitch forever.”
Mokaev responded by circling a screenshot of Kape’s face during the brawl. His caption? Just one word: “Help.”
Kape didn’t stop there; he tweeted a scathing message directed at Mokaev. "What kind of Muslim are you?" he wrote, accusing Mokaev of betrayal.
He continued to criticize Mokaev’s upbringing and honor in Manchester.
The animosity is real—these two are set to collide this Saturday in a three-round flyweight bout at UFC 304. The stakes? Potential title contention for Alexandre Pantoja’s flyweight belt.
In early July, Jean Silva claimed he saw Kape attack Mokaev outside the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas. However, Kape dismissed this as fiction meant to "spice up the fight."
UFC 304 will take place on July 27 at Co-op Live in Manchester, England.
Stay tuned for what promises to be an explosive showdown!
