UFC fighters Alexander Volkanovski and Merab Dvalishvili are known for creating humorous skits on social media in their spare time.
Meet Alexander Volkanovski and Merab Dvalishvili. They’re UFC fighters by day, but they’ve got a side gig. They’re social media comedians, and they’re pretty darn good at it.
Dvalishvili, in particular, has made a name for himself. He’s the “Professor Machine,” a nickname he picked up to poke fun at Henry Cejudo‘s struggle with his last name. That was before their February fight.
Recently, Dvalishvili played the hero. He saw smoke from a building, suited up in firefighter gear, and rushed in. The “fire”? None other than UFC bantamweight champ Sean O’Malley.
Dvalishvili’s been throwing subtle jabs at O’Malley’s love for weed. He’s still waiting for their fight date, expected later this year.
Volkanovski, on the other hand, took a trip down memory lane. He was laying concrete with his buddies, reminiscing about the good ol’ days.
He’s the former UFC featherweight champ, and he’s got stories. Like that one guy who just won’t shut up on the job. He’s got a knack for sharing his legendary moments, much to his coworkers’ annoyance.
Remember when Volkanovski slipped out of Brian Ortega‘s nasty submission attempt?
Or how about when he beat the new “BMF” champ Max Holloway three times? Yeah, that happened.
If you can’t recall these iconic moments, don’t worry. Volkanovski’s got no problem retelling them. Over and over again.
So, check out the videos. Dvalisvhili and Volkanovski at their comedic best. You won’t regret it.
