Michael Page vs Carlos Condit Grappling Match at Polaris 30 Nov 2

Michael “Venom” Page is set to face former WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit in a grappling match at Polaris 30 on November 2, marking Page’s first professional grappling event and Condit’s return to competition since retiring from MMA in 2021.

Michael “Venom” Page is back, but guess what? It’s not in the cage this time.

On Monday, Polaris dropped some exciting news. Page is set to grapple with former WEC welterweight champ Carlos Condit at the upcoming Polaris 30 event. Mark your calendars for November 2!

Page, a former Bellator star, joined the UFC ranks in 2023. He kicked off his UFC journey earlier this year with a unanimous decision victory over Kevin Holland at UFC 299. However, he faced a setback against Ian Machado Garry, losing by decision at UFC 303 in June. Before diving into MMA, Page was a notable kickboxer and also dabbled in boxing and bare-knuckle boxing. But grappling? That’s uncharted territory for him.

Carlos Condit, on the other hand, is no stranger to accolades. A former WEC welterweight champion and UFC interim welterweight champ, he’s one of the most cherished fighters from the 2010s. Remember his epic clash with Robbie Lawler in 2016? It’s hailed as one of MMA’s all-time greats. This Polaris match marks Condit’s return to professional competition since hanging up his gloves in 2021.

Polaris 30 is happening on Nov. 2 at Fairfield Halls in London. Don’t miss it; catch the action live on UFC Fight Pass.
