Following his recent win at BKFC KnuckleMania 4, Mike Perry has called out Darren Till for a fight, aiming to settle their long-standing rivalry from their UFC days.
Mike Perry’s got a bone to pick with Darren Till. He made it clear after his quick knockout victory over Thiago Alves at BKFC KnuckleMania 4. Perry’s the face of BKFC, and he’s not shy about it. He’s calling out Till for a bare-knuckle showdown.
Their beef goes way back, all the way to their UFC days. Perry’s done with the chatter. He’s ready to throw down.
“A lot of folks have been itching for this fight, me and Till included,” Perry stated at the post-fight presser. Till’s been talking a big game, but Perry’s not impressed. “He’s all talk, no action. I’m out here walking the walk. So, Till, if you’re really training with Khamzat [Chimaev] and chasing gold in the MMA world, step up.”
“But I’m the real deal,” Perry continued. “I’m the gold standard here. I’m ‘Platinum.'”
Perry’s been on a roll since leaving UFC for BKFC. He’s undefeated in his five promotional appearances. He’s taken down big names like Michael Page, Luke Rockhold, and Eddie Alvarez.
The “King of Violence” doesn’t scare easily. But he does worry about letting down his fans.
“I saw all these people in the lobby today, here to support us fighters,” Perry said. “They want a good show. They’ve spent their hard-earned money to be here. That’s where the nerves come from.”
“I just want to put on a show,” Perry added. “I won’t quit. I won’t give up. Sometimes, I think about tripping and ending up in the hospital so I don’t have to fight. But I love that feeling. I always step into the ring. I always do my thing.”
Perry’s been sharing voice messages from Till on social media. He’s ready to settle the score in BKFC. But will it happen? Only time will tell.
“I called out Darren Till for a reason,” Perry posted on Instagram. “He’s been talking trash. He won’t last in the ring with me. I’ve fought in multiple weight classes. If they want to offer me the BKFC title, I’ll take it.”
“I’ll fight for the 185-pound BKFC title against a champion with respect,” Perry concluded. “Train to slaughter! Stop playing with me!”
