Former UFC flyweight Muhammad Mokaev survived a serious car accident in Dagestan without major injuries and is recovering after his Mercedes-AMG A 35 AMG lost control and ended up in a ditch.
Former UFC flyweight Muhammad Mokaev narrowly escaped serious injuries after a terrifying car accident in Dagestan on Thursday.
Reports from multiple Russian outlets revealed that the 24-year-old fighter’s Mercedes-AMG A 35 AMG lost control and ended up in a ditch. Mokaev later shared photos of his damaged car and updated fans on his condition.
“Alhamdulillah, I’m well, out from hospital,” Mokaev wrote on Twitter. “Thank you for the support! I have been tested on high level at this stage of my career and I will be back stronger. InshaAllah!”

The cause of the accident remains unclear. However, photos posted by Mokaev highlight the crash’s severity, showing multiple cars involved and one vehicle’s hood completely torn off.

Despite the extensive damage to his car, Mokaev appears to have escaped without any serious injuries.
Interestingly, Mokaev’s accident comes just weeks after his final fight in the UFC where he secured a decision win over Manel Kape at UFC 304. Despite his victory, the UFC chose not to renew his contract, pushing him into free agency.
Recently, Mokaev hinted at potentially securing a new deal outside the UFC. Yet, he hasn’t officially announced where he’ll compete next.
For now, Mokaev focuses on recovering from the alarming accident in Dagestan. Thankfully, he emerged without major injuries.
