Myktybek Orolbai and Mateusz Rebecki are set to collide in a lightweight showdown. These two rising stars promise an electrifying contest.

MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck, citing sources, confirmed the matchup. Orolbai (13-1-1) and Rebecki (19-2) will face off at UFC 308 on Oct. 26. Full Violence first reported this bout.

Orolbai, hailing from Kyrgyzstan, has turned heads in his two UFC bouts. He submitted Uros Medic in his debut. Then, he secured a unanimous decision over Elves Brener at UFC 301 last May.

Before joining the UFC, Orolbai shone brightly in LFA. His skills were undeniable.

Rebecki also had a strong start with two UFC victories. However, he faced a setback against veteran Diego Ferreira at UFC St. Louis in May. Ferreira stopped him just seconds before the third round ended, ending Rebecki’s remarkable 16-fight win streak from his Polish MMA days.

UFC 308 is set for Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. The event will be broadcast on ESPN+ pay-per-view.

The main event features undefeated featherweight champion Ilia Topuria defending his title for the first time against former champ Max Holloway. In the co-main event, former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker aims to hand Khamzat Chimaev his first career loss.
