Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal’s pay-per-view boxing match on July 6 will be available on UFC Fight Pass for $49.99, marking Masvidal’s pro boxing debut and a rematch of their 2019 UFC bout.
Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal are coming back to a UFC screen near you. Sort of.
Fanmio announced Wednesday that the Diaz vs. Masvidal pay-per-view boxing match set for July 6 will also be available for purchase on the UFC’s streaming service, UFC Fight Pass. Initially, Fanmio was the sole distributor with a PPV charge of $79.99.
A press release from Fanmio lists the UFC Fight Pass purchase price at $49.99, which was available to early buyers until April 12. MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin confirmed with Fanmio that this is now the PPV price across the board.
Fight Pass is a subscription streaming service costing $9.99 a month or $95.99 a year. Besides broadcasting occasional UFC Fight Night cards and housing an archive of the promotion’s events and related programming, Fight Pass includes weekly offerings of regional and international MMA shows.
Diaz vs. Masvidal takes place on July 6 at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. The two previously met in the octagon during UFC 244’s main event in November 2019.
Masvidal defeated Diaz via third-round doctor stoppage after opening up a bloody cut over Diaz’s right eye. That win made Masvidal the UFC’s inaugural “BMF” champion.
The rematch marks Masvidal’s pro boxing debut. Diaz recently competed in boxing for the first time in August 2023 when he lost a unanimous decision to influencer Jake Paul.
Exciting times ahead!
