They made it official on Saturday night. It happened during the UFC Atlantic City broadcast. UFC 302 is all set. It’s gonna happen on June 1. And guess where? The Prudential Center in Newark.
This confirms what we’ve been hearing. The whispers, the rumors. They were all pointing towards New Jersey’s biggest city.
The last time UFC hit Newark’s Prudential Center? May 2023. That was for UFC 288. Remember that one? It was the bantamweight title bout. Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo. Epic, right?
But wait, there’s more. They’ve also confirmed five matchups for the summer pay-per-view. One of them is a previously reported bout. You know the one. It’s between ranked middleweights Roman Dolidze and Anthony Hernandez. And let’s not forget the lightweight bout. Grant Dawson and Joe Solecki are gonna face off.
