“The Lazy King”, Abdoul Abdouraguimov, a prominent international fighter, has signed with the Professional Fighters League (PFL) to debut in 2023 and compete for the $1 million prize in the 2024 season, with his first fight against Quemuel Ottoni scheduled to take place in Paris.

Abdoul Abdouraguimov, known as “The Lazy King”, is the newest addition to the Professional Fighters League (PFL). Having amassed quite a reputation on the international scene with a record of 16-1, he announced on Thursday that he has put pen to paper to join the league. His debut match is already slated with plans to compete for the grand $1 million prize in the 2024 season. His first bout under the PFL banner is set for September 30, 2023, in Paris where he is billed to fight Quemuel Ottoni, who possesses a 12-3 record.

Over the years, Abdouraguimov has stamped his authority as a force to reckon with in mixed martial arts. The 28-year-old Frenchman has been on a destructive path, winning six consecutive fights and racking up an outstanding list of submission victories. He has won 11 of his 16 victories via submission, underlining his proficiency in that area. Most recently, he competed and triumphed in the Ares Fighting Championship, where he twice clinched the promotion’s middleweight and welterweight titles.

However, Quemuel Ottoni is no pushover, riding on the back of five straight wins, he has a wealth of fighting experience from his time in Jungle Fight, the LFA, and Samurai FC. His famous victory came in October 2015 when he scored a submission win over the future UFC champion, Alex Pereira. In the main event of the October 30 PFL Europe card, acclaimed kickboxing star Cedric Doumbe is expected to square off against Jordan Zebo.
