The upcoming PFL: Battle of the Giants pay-per-view is set for Oct. 19, and fans are buzzing with excitement. The main event marks the return of Francis Ngannou, who will face Renan Ferreira in his first MMA fight in over two years. Quite a comeback!
The PPV is priced at $49.99 in the U.S. and Canada, while UK viewers can catch it for £19.99. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will host this thrilling event.
PFL officials confirmed these prices to MMA Fighting on Wednesday. Ngannou’s debut in the PFL comes after signing a lucrative deal post-UFC exit.
Having left the UFC as the heavyweight champ, Ngannou took time off due to knee surgery. Once a free agent, he signed with PFL but dabbled in boxing against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua before returning to MMA.
On the other side, Ferreira enters the bout after a stunning victory over Bellator champ Ryan Bader. This win paved his way to welcome Ngannou to PFL.
Another exciting matchup features Cris Cyborg’s return to MMA against Larissa Pacheco at featherweight. Cyborg has been busy with boxing lately, but she’s back with a bang! Pacheco poses a formidable challenge, boasting a 10-fight win streak, including a win over Kayla Harrison.
Also on the card is Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen defending his belt against Fabian Edwards. A night packed with action!
