The PFL’s upcoming pay-per-view, “Battle of the Giants,” scheduled for October 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, features Francis Ngannou‘s return to MMA against Renan Ferreira in the main event, with Cris Cyborg making her PFL debut in the co-main event against Larissa Pacheco.
The PFL has revealed the full card and bout order for its next pay-per-view, dubbed Battle of the Giants. This event marks Francis Ngannou’s return to action against Renan Ferreira in the main event.
PFL: Ngannou vs. Ferreira takes place on Oct. 19 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The prelims start at 1:30 p.m. ET, with the main card kicking off at 4 p.m. ET.
Ngannou signed with PFL as a free agent after leaving the UFC as heavyweight champion. Following his signing, he pursued a lifelong dream of transitioning into boxing, resulting in fights against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
Ngannou suffered a brutal knockout loss to Joshua back in March. Now, he’s making his return to MMA, facing 2023 PFL heavyweight champion Ferreira.
The co-main event features Cris Cyborg’s return as she makes her PFL debut against two-time league champion Larissa Pacheco in a featherweight bout.
A new featherweight showdown has been added to the PFL PPV. Veteran Husein Kadimagomaev, who trains with UFC star Khamzat Chimaev, will face Zafar Mohsen on the main card.
The preliminary card features Bellator veteran Raufeon Stots taking on Marcos Breno in a bantamweight matchup.
